Full limited edition reprint of a title first published in 1805, detailing the expeditions of the famous 18th and 19th century explorer. Originally published in three volumes and here reprinted as two volumes in a slipcase, with no dust jacket as issued. Printing was limited to two thousand copies. Comes with six unattached fold-out maps in pouch at back of Vol. II, all in fine condition. Books are in very good condition, bound in tan cloth with spines stamped in silver, slipcase is in good condition with some minor staining and a small price tag on the front from previous seller.
