The author has amassed a bounty of information about Wrights in southern Virginia. This volume is divided into three sections. The death records are listed chronologically and include date of death, name, place of death, race, sex, age, cause, parents, informant, relation of informant and sometimes county of birth, consort, and occupation. Later records provide even more information, such as address, duration of cause of death, burial date, cemetery, and undertaker. The cemetery records are listed alphabetically by cemetery and include the location of the cemetery. Each entry gives name, birth and death dates, and other information when available, such as military service or name of spouse. The probate records are listed chronologically and provide book and page, date, decedent, and type of document. Each section is indexed separately. A most helpful feature for each entry is the identification column, in which the author identifies the specific family and Wright ancestors from whom the named Wright descends.
