Overview

1892 10 volume set Published by Collier. Contains 30 stories. For it's age it is in surprisingly good condition. Boards: All volumes have some rubbing along the edges and corners. One volume has rubbing on the back board, and remnants of a square shaped item that must have sat on it. Some damnstaining on most volumes, Fading to gilt ranges from mild to significant depending on the volume. Binding: All binding are still fairly tight considering the age. Some are beginning to loosen at the free end paper. In some volumes the free end paper has been fallen out entirely, although this is barely noticable. Pages: Very clean pages. No significant foxing or staining present. Paste down on some books contains faded ink transferr possibly from owners previous inscription on free end paper.
