First pressing, mono recording of Kirk's first release. Recorded in Cincinnati. Bop-era multi-instrumental jazz artist, released through the King label, famously associated with James Brown. Rare, with limited online listings available. Listing includes blank inner paper sleeve with some paste action and outer protective plastic sleeve. Outer sleeve has an 8 1/2 inch split from top right edge, as well as some chipping to exterior edges. Minor charcoal writing of original price on back panel, picture included. Light, superficial scratch to outer edge of side one. Matrix code: King 539.
