During World War II, racist hysteria led the US government to imprison fellow citizens of Japanese descent. A fury of hatred was unleashed toward the Japanese American community in what is one of the darkest chapters of American history. Yet not everyone succumbed to the hysteria. This graphic novel tells the stories of those who realized that injustice was being done and who did what they could to mitigate that injustice. Through acts big and small, neighbors and friends let the Japanese American community know that they were not alone.
