Collier's Unabridged Edition. 2 volumes, with forty illustrations. Volume 1 includes Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Our Mutual Friend, Great Expectations, Little Dorrit, and Martin Chuzzlewit; volume 2 includes Nicholas Nickleby, Christmas Books, Tale of Two Cities, Dombey and Son, Old Curiosity Shop, Sketches by Boz, Hard Times, and Miscellaneous works. Two leatherbound volumes with blind-stamped borders on covers, gilt lettering on front covers and spines, as well as gilt end pages. Heavy rubbing on boards, particularly along bottom edge and hinges. Volume 1 has more damage along spine and outer corners, some tearing at top edge of hinge. Both volumes are cracked at the front hinge but otherwise bindings remain solid. There are some pages beginning to come loose at the front around these breaks. Regardless, these volumes would add character to any collector's shelf.
