First edition. This is the third of the "Eagle Lake" books published by Saalfield, the other two being "The Mystery of Eagle Lake" and "Blind Man's Inlet." They are a selection of boy's mystery and adventure novels. Dust jacket unclipped, toning and some rubbing on spine of jacket and along inside flaps of dust jacket. Closed tears and some chipping along foot of jacket spine, with some loss at foot and crown. Brown boards, fully bound, black stamped title on cover and spine. Some splitting along front cover and pastedown, but binding is sturdy. Blue crayon mark on first free endpaper.
