This book was a follow up to the Velveteen Rabbit, with a similar story of a forgotten toy. It was a collaboration between Margery Williams and her daughter. While the story is quite sweet, something about Skin Horse's eyes evoke a feeling that's fitting for the Halloween season. There is some water staining on the front cover. 1927 first edition. Colored and line illustrations throughout.
