Sias, Jr., Ph.D., the grand nephew of the original author. The new Foreword includes additional material about persons named Sias that have lived in southern France since the early 1600s. This book is the seminal source of information on the Sias family in America. All descendants are traced to the patriarch of the family, John Sias, who lived in New Hampshire near the end of the 1600s. Dr. Azariah Boody Sias followed this text with two Supplements published in 1957 and 1967.
