Subtitled "El Tirador De Primera," this is the story of the life of Hamilton Cobb Peterson. Peterson was the U.S. Commissioner for the Justice Department in Laredo, Texas circa 1876. This book is amazingly researched, and contains many B&W and color illustrations, along with photographs of dozens of contemporary documents. Signed by the author. There is one 1" pen mark on the front cover; otherwise, it is essentially brand new. This little-known, self-published book is a remarkable piece of Texana.
