This companion to Hubbard's Scrap Book is a fascinating piece of history featuring original mottoes, epigrams, short essays, philosophy and literature, which serve as miniature biographies. More fascinating than the content even is the way this book was put together. The book was bound by master-craftsmen at The Roycroft Shops, printed on deckle-edged paper with a cloth-lined butcher paper cover. The book is mylar protected, but the condition of the cover has faded the color with a good amount of chipping on the top edge.
