Hardback copy of "The Life Of Greece" by Will Durant published by Simon and Schuster in 1966. It is the twenty-first printing of this book and its the second title in Durant's "the story of civilization" series. Text block is tight and clean. All images in the center of the book are clean, along with the front and back in paste in pages displaying maps of the classical period of the hellenistic or mediterranean world. Spine is tight to the text block. Top edge of the pages of the book dyed red, with slight discoloration on the front edge away from its spine. Slight bumping and rubbing damage along the edge of the spine and on the corners. Burgundy cloth cover is clean as is the golden bust of a greek hero on the center. Dust jacket has noticable discoloration along its spine on the interior and exterior along with several creases on the edges and in particular on the upper and bottom edges of the spine.
