His silhouette is still standing in the fields today.

Marie B. Jackson-Peoples, BS, MS, M.Ed. grew up in a Christian home in rural Caroline County, Virginia. Recent published books are A Book of Short Stories and Spunky Craig. She has also published articles, as a result of attending the Institute of Children's Literature Program in Connecticut. Jackson-Peoples spent her career working in the public schools of Washington, DC.
