Edward James Corbett CIE VD was an Anglo-Indian hunter and author. He gained fame through hunting and killing several man-eating tigers and leopards in Northern India, which he detailed in his bestselling 1944 memoir Man-Eaters of Kumaon. In his later years, he became an outspoken advocate of the nascent conservation movement. A five folume box set of Jim Corbett fist edition thus' including Man Eaters of Kumaon, My India, Jungle Lore, Leopard of Rudrapryag, and Temple Tiger & Tree Tops. All volumes bound in green leather with gilt decoration and lettering encased in a beautifully illustrative slipcase with art by Guy Coheleach.
