Overview

Incredible study of early German cinema demonstrating the influence of the theater, specifically avant-garde stage director Max Reinhardt. This book is chock full of images, which are in black in white, but that is alright considering the films in question are lacking in color as well! Spine is ever so slightly slanted. Cloth boards are bright, no sun fading which is a feat for a red-colored book. Would be a wonderful addition to any film lover's collection.
