Red cloth boards with titling in gold. Dust jacket has closed 1" tear on the front upper about an inch in from the hinge as well as chipping along edges. The book does have a musty smell. It details the history of airplanes through the 1960s, referencing the brand new Boeing 747. The author, himself a pilot, had flown many of the planes described and includes photos he personally took.
