People are made broken by the mirror they see in other people's faces that morph into their own realities of what they see when they look in the actual mirror. It can be the grown adult shouting out the window "whale" as they drive by you standing at a gas station. But as I said, people aren't born broken. They're molded into it, and I was not the exception. I was born and named Christine Jane Addison, but everyone calls me Jane.
