Featuring maps throughout, this personal account of a confederate soldier features insight into and description of the Battle of Shiloh and the Battle of Missionary Ridge amongst other accounts. Inzer was a soldier and judge, as well as the owner of one of the oldest homes in Ashville, Alabama, which was donated to a branch of the Sons of Confederate Veterans a long time after his death. Gray cloth boards with gilt-stamped titles on spine as well as the confederate flag on the front cover. Very minor scuffs to front cover boards and light toning to pastedowns.
