Janet works with Starting Hearts, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of victims of sudden cardiac arrest through education and early care. She hopes to share the Starting Hearts' dynamic and interactive curriculum with school districts throughout the country so every child is prepared with the leadership skills and knowledge to save a life. Janet's teaching passion spans over four decades of experience in the classroom from kindergarten through graduate school. She holds a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver. She is a mother, a wife and a grandmother and lives in Vail, Colorado.
