Half bound in red leather over plum boards with gilt top edge, embossed decorations on the leather and gilt titles and decorations, as well as raised bands, on the spine. Minor rubbing to the corners of the boards, Front hinge just starting. This volume includes biographies of many of the founding fathers of the U.S. and other figures important in her early history. Small dampstain to the fore edge of the first few pages.
