A second edition of this sweeping biograpy, with a new appendix by Rev. J.W. Jones including an account of the unveling of Jackson's statue at Richmond in 1875. Bound in full leather with marbled endpapers and gilt titles on spine. Front board is wholly detatched as are the first few pages, but all are present. Rear board is hanging on only by its strings. All illustrations and maps are present and in very good condition. All photos retain their full tissue guards except the frontis portrait of Jackson, whose tissue guard is torn. Rebound, this would be a beautiful volume.
