A first edition, bound in full leather with embossed borders on the boards and gilt titles on the spine. The front board is detached; the rear is hanging by a single thread. Both are heavily rubbed. The front free enpaper and title page are secured to the front board with tape. The remainder of the binding is sound and the text is quite clean save some foxing. 727 pp plus errata and 4 pages of advertising.
