One of the oldest textile factories in Norway, Salhus Knittery operated outside Bergen for over 130 years, producing thousands of sweaters and other knitted fabrics. The technical knowledge required in the early days to develop patterns that could be knitted on machines has resulted in a collection of timeless geometric motifs, which inspired some of Norway's best-loved knit designers to come together and create this striking selection of all-new contemporary handknit garments--now translated into English for the first time.
