Posthumously published autobiography of James Oliver Curwood (1878–1927), a popular American action-adventure author and conservationist, completed by Dorothea A. Bryant. The 243-page book chronicles his life, outdoor philosophy, and career, which included writing, working for the Detroit News-Tribune, and his passion for wildlife conservation. First-edition hardcover copy in near fine condition. First-edition hardcover copy in very good condition. Dust jacket has been preserved in a mylar wrapper but has had some rubbing at the top and tail of spine and corners. Book is bound in navy cloth boards with green text. Pages are clean, unmarked, with tight binding. Some foxing throughout.
