The boards are red cloth with a gold design. On the spine there is some rubbing so there are a few spots that are now a light red almost pink color. The top edge has intentional red staining. There are colored pictures in the book. There is also a Genealogical Table of The Bourbon Family just tucked away in the book.
The slip case is a dark blue that has started to change colors due to weather conditions. There are a few ink spots on top of the slip case.
