Contains the quatrains of the 11th-century Persian poet and mathematician which explore themes of life's transience. With decorated orange endpapers and pastedowns, a color frontispiece and with 11 color plates by Edmund Dulac. Good condition. Dust jacket has chips missing along all the edges and some water stains. Mylared. Bound in orange cloth with black lettering the cloth has some water damage along the outer edge. Top of text block is darkened.
