Resistentialism is a word to describe the seemingly spiteful behavior manifested by inanimate objects, where objects that cause problems (like lost keys or a runaway bouncy ball) exhibit a high degree of malice toward humans. Why choose this title for a book of material compiled from different artists, writers, and photographers? Better question might be why hasn't it been used before?
