This delightful little volume is a collection of poems and miscellany by "the Curious Pensil of the Ever Memorable Sir Henry Wotton." Sir Henry Wotton lived from 1568-1639 and was an English diplomat and later the provost of Eton Colledge. This copy was printed in 1651, which is when it first appeared around a decade after Wotton's death. It has been rebound at some point in these past 400 years, likely within the last 100-200 given its excellent condition. It is quarter-bound in leather. It is such a joy that we can still read and understand words written so long ago, if you can get past the long "s"!
