G+ This is a detailed instructional book on many different kinds of race horses, and how to train and care for them. It includes a "Trainer's Diary" that goes into the day-to-day experiences of a race horse trainer. Part two of this book is "The Technique of Training". This is a reprint of the 1938 original book, with a new five pages of pictures after page 185. No DJ. Bumping and rubbing to the edges of the boards caused some of the color to rub off, especially on the spine near the bottom. There are small black and white marks on both the front and the back due to use, but the binding is still intact.There's a very minor tear at the bottom of the pages that goes from the front endpaper to about page 7, getting smaller with each page. The pages themselves are in great condition, with no markings or highlighting.
