First edition, first printing of Quentin Durward that was published by Charles Scibner's Sons and is out of print. Written by Sir Walter Scott, Bart and illustrated by C. Bosseron Chambers. Illustrations are in full color. The spine is relatively fragile. There is some liquid damage on the lower left corner on most pages. The cover has several scratches, and there is evidence of shelf wear on the top and bottom of the spine. The inside of the front cover, and the right corner of the first page has small writing in pencil. This is a rare edition that is hard to find with its pages still in tact.
