A small pamphlet reprint of a 1908 lecture on patriotism by the then-president of the Theosophical Society. Besant argues that patriotism and national history should be the first thing taught in schools. Stamped on the front cover by the Theosophical Society. There are some creases throughout, but most visually apparent on the back cover. The front cover has an adhesive sticker on the upper left corner. General shelf wear throughout, with some chips and small tears around the edges.
