Signed and inscribed by John Phillips on the first free endpaper and by Phillips' co-author Jim Jerome on the page following. Features 30 pages of B&W photographs. Light toning to dust jacket, with instances of rubbing to edges and closed tears along crown of jacket spine (along interior of jacket at top of spine, tears are inexpertly mended with tape). Light scuffs and close tears to back cover of jacket, which shows a colored photograph of John Phillips. Black over red cloth boards, quarter bound, with gilt-stamped title on spine. Very light bumping to spine ends. Top page edge has instances of minor foxing. Fore edge deckled with very light foxing. Minor instance of paste-action on rear pastedown.
