Known as "Shakespesare's Ovid", this translation was used by the famous Elizabethan playright and influenced many of his ideas and works. G+. White dust jacket with orange text and green vover design. Dust jacket shows chipping and rubbing at the top, with a two inch tear at the front bottom left corner. Dust jacket has several scratches, only visible in certain lighting. Green cloth boards, with title and publisher in gold on spine. Top edge of text block covered in orange spray. Endpapers in good shape, with previous owner's name is blue ink on top right corner, over a smudge.
