Poetry collection by noted psychedelic rock pioneer Roky Erickson, a founding member of the 13th Floor Elevators. Written after Erickson's arrest for possession of a single marijuana joint and his subsequent incarceration and mental health treatment, these poems were smuggled out of the hospital by family members and privately printed, the proceeds meant to hire a lawyer. It is thought that 1,000 copies exist. This copy is signed by Erickson on the endpaper, inscribed "To M and C and others, "I don't have to look to find the page" Your Brother in Jesus, Roky." First printing stated. No dustjacket as issued, light wear to boards, small stains, scuffing, lightly bumped corners. Interior is in excellent shape. A unique piece of music history.
