Bunker Memorial Gardens was a different kind of cemetery. Everyone who was taken there for burial had been a victim of murder. These are their stories.
There was the Lawrence family, seven people who were killed altogether. They were found hanging from the second-floor railing in their own home. All seven of them.
Barbara Longstreet, known to her friends as Babs was in the cemetery along with her little dog, Blackjack.
There were the four-year-old twins, Kathleen and Alice, who were murdered because they saw too much.
Ten-year-old Patrick Trapp was murdered by his best friend, Leonard Peckman when he tried to save his neighbor Elizabeth Knorr.
There was also a teacher, Celia Hawkins who was killed by one of her 8th grade students.
There are many other stories of murder at Bunker Memorial Gardens. Some of these murderers would get caught, but not all of them.
All of these people who roamed the Bunker Memorial Gardens had one thing in common, a man named Spencer Adams.
Spencer spent his days on a bench near the entranceway of the gardens. He would greet every dead person who was buried there and all of those who came later.
Spencer Adams could see and talk to ghosts.
