Overview

The full title is "Oeuvres de Jean Racine, précédées des Mémoires sur sa vie par Louis Racine". This 1870 "New Edition" features a half-shagreen red leather binding, a ribbed spine with gilt decorations, and gilded top edges of the pages. The spine has a pretty notable tear to it and there are foxing spackles peppered throughout. Despite the tear on the spine, and the wear from opening the cover, the book is still solidly bound with no splits or loose pages. The ribbon is still here as well.
