Overview

A very scarce and nicely preserved work by John Alden Knight, a writer, naturalist, and fisherman who developed the idea of Solunar Theory, or the belief that animal activity is determined by the position of the sun and moon. Much of his research and work centered around fish and other water creatures, with Knight noticing correlations such as record fish overwhelmingly caught during certain moon periods. First edition copy marked "A" on page containing publication information. Dust jacket is still fully intact with the exception of tears and scuffs mainly at the top of the spine, scuff marks can be found along side the spine of the jacket, bumped edges, discoloration on the spine of the jacket but overall great binding condition.
