Overview

Charlie Chaplin and Albert Einstein vs. Nazis in 1930's Hollywood. Using their unique talents - Einstein's brainpower and Chaplin's acting and athletic abilities - the two most famous men in the world team up to battle fascists when the LAPD and the FBI would not. Midnight Burning, Chaplin and Einstein, based on their real-life friendship, risk their lives to track down an arms shipment from Germany to the Silver Legion of America fascist group. They are assisted by Georgia Ann Robinson, the first Black female LAPD officer, another real character, and Jimmy Mitchell, a reporter from the "Sentinel," a real African-American newspaper. A dangerous chase takes our heroes into the heart of darkness, a fascist encampment in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles where a militia armed with machine guns plans its attack. Batten the hatches: it's brains versus brawn in an explosive, unforgettable finale.
