9 volume set. Stereotyped and printed by Henry O. Houghton, who would later go on to form the Houghton Mifflin publishing company. Ticknor and Fields merged with Houghton in the late 1800s. 16mo 3/4 bound hardcovers with marbled boards, edges, paste downs and end papers. Corners chipped and slightly bumped. Crown of spines slightly bumped and chipped. Backstrips scuffed. Top edge of volume 2 slight white stain.
