Overview

"Masters of Photography" is a mid-twentieth century collection from some of the eras more prominent photographers, such as Edward Steichen and Ansel Adams. This tasteful compilation of monotone pictures is accompanied by biographies of the life and times of their respective photographers, and is a novel resource for a private perspective of their experience. The volume itself is in good condition, as there are some obvious stains and rips present on the dust jacket and pastedown, but the contents of the text block seem untouched. There is a small inked out stamp on the first page that contributes to this condition rating, but is not representative of the book as a whole. Despite these flaws, this book makes for an inspiring and unique treasure for anyone fond of aesthetics or artistic cultivation.
