Overview

Four volume set about Welsh actress Sarah Siddons, who was the best known tragedienne of the 18th century and most famous for her portrayal of Lady Macbeth. All volumes have illustrated portraits and gilded edges that are still shiny. All copies do have cracked joints near top of spine, volume 4 being the worst with chipping at top of spine exposing boards. All inlays are present including portraits and letters, pages are clean, and binding is tight!
