5 volume set of the classic fiction novel. G-. Bound in light green boards with identical gold gilt embossed design on all volumes. Volume One: Fantine. Front cover board has small area that have permanent black dots. Edges have rubbing. Top of volume has severe water damage. Inside frontis piece has writing in pencil and blue ink pen in upper right hand corner. Binding off center. Volume Two: Cosette. Front cover board has obvious raised line down half. Front inside binding is separating. Spine has faded spots and rubbing. Volume Three: Marius. Top of spine has significant rubbing, inside top left corner of front board has penciled dates. Volume Four: The Idyll and the Epic. Tops of front and back cover boards have indentations. Top and bottom edges of spine have rubbing. Volume Five: Jean Valjean. Top and bottom edges of spine have rubbing.
