The Complete Six Volume Set of Doc Smith's acclaimed Triplanetary series, originally published serially in the 1930's, but rewritten and published as a cohesive narrative in 1950, features: "Triplanetary," "First Lensman, "Galactic Patrol," "Grey Lensman," "Second Stage Lensmen," and "Children of the Lens." Each volume is bound in black leather, with gilt science-fiction decoration on front cover, gilt border on back cover, and gilt titles on spine. All edges gilt, with integral ribbon, silk moiré fabric pastedowns. Frontispiece of each volume features cover art of original dust jackets, and each chapter features decorative initials featuring scenes or characters from the narrative. Volumes III-VI are still sealed, Volumes I and II accessible. An instance of minor scuffing to gilt edge on I and II, with infrequent instances of minor soiling in II, such as page staining.
