Actress and singer Judy Garland is best remembered for her role as Dorothy in the 1939 musical fantasy film, "The Wizard of Oz," in which she sang the classic Academy Award-winning ballad, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Although "The Wizard of Oz" skyrocketed Garland to stardom, she is also remembered for her musical and dramatic roles, especially her "backyard musicals" with the legendary Mickey Rooney. In all, during a 40-year career, she made 32 feature films, in addition to doing voice over work for two more.
