Full title: "Judah' Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright: An Analysis of the Prophecies of the Scriptures in regard to the Royal Family of Judah and the Many Nations of Israel, the Lost Ten Tribes." The book is an early example of British Israelism at the turn of the century, and later influence on the Identity Christianity interpretations of the Old Testament in the 1920-50's in the United States. Opposite the title page is a portrait of Reverend Allen, and preceding that is a map bordered by Bible verse and showing a demarcated line from Jerusalem to the British Isles. Listed as the fifteenth edition, originally published in 1902. No dust jacket. Red boards, fully bound, with black stamped title and border on front cover and title on spine. Very minimal instances of annotation in the book text, very minimal instances of staining as well. Faded script in ink and red stain on first free endpaper.
