These 4 volumes are a matching, incomplete set published by Charles Scribners and Sons beginning in 1911 and throughout 1912. The titles included in this listing are "Crittenden", "The Kentuckians", "Christmas Eve on Lonesome", and "The Trail opf the Lonesome Pine". All are hardcovers with green, cloth-covered boards and a gilt floral decoration on the cover with gilt lettering on the spine. All covers have light, speckled discoloration on front and rear. Hinges and binding on all volumes are sound. Previous owner's name inscribed on the front endpapers of some volumes. Pages are otherwise free from underlining and marginalia.
