James Francis Burke (April 15, 1923 – June 26, 1981) was an American cornet soloist and famously had just the use of one arm. He was the principal cornet soloist with the Goldman Band from 1943 to 1974. He was also the principal trumpet with The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 1943 to 1949. This extremely rare record is a promotional item given complimentarily on behalf of Buescher Band Instruments and produced as part of the Artist Workshop Series and includes a promotional letter from James F.Burke endorsing the "400" Cornet and a 45 record in excellent condition. Unfortunately this pack is missing the sheet music that accompanies it.
