Overview

Antique. Second Edition, published same year as the First Edition. Written and compiled with extracts from from "The Diary of Lieutenant H. Frankland: a Prisoner of War at Pretoria." Obvious rubbing tpo canvas covers' edges and corners, causing discoloration along the foot, corners of the crown, and the fore edge of the backstrip. Original gild inscription along spine, front cover, and the top gild of the page edge remains, only some fading along lower edge of backstrip. Bumping to canvas fore corners. Small stain on edge of front free end-paper.
