Married to the mentally unstable Henry VI at 14, she took over leadership to secure the throne for her son, Edward. Beige clothbound hardcover with black and brown detailing on cover and spine. Engravings throughout. 7 x 5 in, 316 pages. Mild wear to exterior, corners are bumped. Head and foot of spine are wrinkled, beginning to fray. Fading and some dark marks on the spine. Previous owner stamps on front and rear free and pasted end papers. Binding is weak throughout, but still intact.
