A nice reprint copy of this history of the preferred rifle of the intrepid trappers and explorers of the 19th century American west. Very good in good+ dust jacket. The jacket has a few medium-sized chips, particularly along the spine, as well as some tape repairs and considerable yellowing. The book itself is clean and the boards still quite brite with just minor rubbing and soiling along the edges.
